My passion lies in working with couples, families, systems, and individuals to cultivate healthy, thriving relationships. I specialize in navigating the intricacies of all kinds of connections—whether it's dating in the internet age, exploring sexuality, managing the impact of high-conflict parents, or navigating having a child with anxiety, OCD, ADHD, or ODD.
I’ve long been inspired by the Harvard 85-year study, which identifies relationships as the single greatest predictor of happiness. That insight shapes my work and fuels my commitment to helping people build strong, meaningful connections.
Trained in SPACE, PMT, EFT, and the Gottman Method, I bring a flexible and evidence-based approach to therapy.
Whether you’re looking to improve communication, set healthier boundaries, or get coaching through a tough situation, I’m here to help you navigate the complexities of interpersonal dynamics in pursuit of a good life.
Anxiety is like a smoke detector—it alerts us when something feels off in our environment. For some of us, though, that smoke detector is a little too sensitive, going off at burnt toast instead of an actual fire.

As a therapist, my goal isn’t to eliminate anxiety altogether (it serves a purpose), but to help you retune the system so it only sounds the alarm when there’s a fire worth putting out.
I completed a two-year postgraduate fellowship in gold-standard, evidence-based practices—including CBT, ACT, ERP, and ICBT—and I thrive when working with clients who struggle with high anxiety and OCD, particularly the stubborn thought based OCD like morality, harm, and relationship OCD.
As a subspecialty, I work well with “insecure overachievers”—a group that shows up often in high-performing, fast-paced fields. My clients learn how to use their anxiety as a tool so you can live life on your own terms.
Whether you're a firefighter, cop, EMT, or ED worker, a "bad day" for you is different than a bad day for your partner or civilian friends. I am a second-career therapist and spent the first fifteen years of my career working nights in an emergency room. As a result, I bring both experience and understanding into the session.

While therapy is inherently feelings-focused, I tailor the process to your needs and pace—often using practical solutions, evidence-based research, and humor/irreverence to balance the work we're doing.
When working with couples, I focus on the arguments between you—helping you understand where things went off track and building the skills and insight to argue differently next time.
I do not accept insurance, however, I offer a sliding scale for first responders.

Trauma is an unavoidable part of life. Our brains are wired to be pattern-making machines, and when trauma occurs, they often lock into trauma patterns—seeing danger where there is none and feeling triggered by situations others might see as minor. In trauma work, we focus on understanding both the trigger and the underlying pattern, then begin to build new patterns and responses.
For some people, trauma looks more like what I call “paper cut trauma”—small relational wounds that seem minor in the moment but, over time, accumulate and leave a big impact. These kinds of wounds are often invisible to the outside world, but that doesn’t make them any less painful or disruptive.
I’m trained in a variety of trauma treatments and can tailor therapy to fit your unique needs. I’m also trained in Stephen Porges Safe and Sound Protocol designed to help gently regulate the nervous system.
